Brushed ConcreteSalt Finish and Broom Finish are both selections of concrete decks that are categorized by the texture and method of installation. Broom finish decks are brushed with a broom as the concrete cures, giving it a brushed look. Salt, on the other hand, gets its name from the texture pits etched and created when rock salt is hand broadcast over the deck as it cures. CantileverStegmeier's Cantilever Forms are foam forms that attach to the tile on gunite (or one-piece fiberglass) pools and secured with double face tape and tie wires. The tie wires are positioned approximately 14" apart and are designed to break away at a pre determined point 2" deep into the concrete edge. |
